Reading Logs

Now that the third trimester will be beginning, we have increased our reading time per night and the number of Reading logs due. Each night you will need to read for 30 minutes. You will log this on your Reading Log Sheet in your folder. Don't forget to put the author, title of the book, and the page numbers you read each night.

You will need to complete four (4) entries (reading logs) per week. Each entry will consist of one paragraph which is a description of what you read. The second paragraph will be your opinion or reaction as to what you read.

All Reading Logs (in the spiral) and the Reading Log Sheet (In the folder) are due on Friday.

Keeping in touch

Please feel free to contact me via email. Staying in touch helps facilitate better communication between the home and school environment. Thank you for all of your support!

Thank you,

Ms. Darr

Students will learn new ways to solve problems. Ask your child about the CUBES method.

I will send home additional math homework when necessary to supplement the content.

Students have done such a remarkable job on all of their writing. Thank you for all of your patience and guidance.
