Reading Logs

Each night you will need to read for 45 minutes. You will log this on your Reading Log Sheet in your folder. Don't forget to put the author, title of the book, and the page numbers you read each night.

You will need to complete two (4) entries (reading logs) per week. Each entry will consist of one paragraph which is a description of what you read. The second paragraph will be your opinion or reaction as to what you read.

All Reading Logs (in the spiral)  are due on Friday.

HAPPY READING!

Spring is in the Air

This wonderful time of year when the flowers are awakening from their winter hide-a-aways. Allergies are beginning upon us, as we are going through kleenex like crazy. A few extra boxes to get us through the end of the year would be much appreciated.

We will be having our last field trip on Friday, May 18, 2018. We will be attending a performance by the New Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra at Popejoy Hall on the UNM campus. There is no cost for children or chaperones.  I will need 5 chaperones for this event. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested.

We will be leaving Petroglyph at 11:15 a.m. and will return by 1:45 p.m. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch and drink which we will eat in the classroom at 10:45 a.m.
