Parent Handbook 2017-2018 School Year

April Newsletter

March 19, 2018

Dear Parents,

Happy springtime to you!

Hope that you all enjoy Spring Break Together! (March 26th-March 30th)

As a reminder, we have a field trip to the Rio Grande Zoo on Friday, March 23rd. There will be no school or bus service this day.  Let’s please try to meet to eat lunch together. If you need another field trip form, please let me know. We are meeting at 9:45am to enter in by 10:00am.

I will be sending home your child’s extra clothes, to change them out for the warmer weather. Please send them back and please also include a pair of socks too.

Please see the attached snack calendar and reading log. When the children return back to school we will be discussing the Spring Season and what are the "signs" that we know it is the Spring Season. (Planting, Flowers, Birds, and Bugs).

April is Autism Awareness month. Therefore many companies have apps for I-pads on sale/or free (world Autism Awareness day is (April 2nd) I would encourage you to be on the lookout for these apps, because they don’t necessarily just benefit children with Autism. A great website which lists apps in alphabetical order and what type of device it will run on is:

As always, any questions please let me know!

Thank you very much,

Thank you Ms. Rachelle
