            Third Grade 2017-2018

Hello Families,    August 23, 2017

From the Classroom

First, I enjoyed meeting so many of you at Meet the Teacher Day and during the first week of school. Thank you for sending in supplies.  They will be used throughout the year.

After just over a week in school, we have adjusted  into work and schedules!  The students are doing their job! Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Science have been introduced as well as writing and Grammar Enrichment has begun except for STEAM room which will open Sept. 5.

Some Adjustments

*Because of class size in Third Grade, Administration has issued a letter to all Third Grade families, sent home today, regarding potential changes for the grade level.  The goal is to increase the grade level by hiring another teacher and have five classrooms instead of four.  Please review the notice  and return it to me by Friday, August 25th if you are interested in making a change to whomever the new Third Grade Teacher will be.

For now, I’ll keep moving forward and please know that at times your children are amazing!

Regards,

Diane Bourque –Third Grade Teacher
